Wednesday, 24th of May
Maharloo Lake near Shiraz is famous for it’s pink color. However, I’m going to assume that most people stay on the shore for pictures and don’t actually walk out on the „saltbank“. Well… @schmidi_999 my new travel buddy from Germany and me aren’t like most people. He decides to go barefoot which turns out to be a smart decision. To leave footprints where not a lot of people have left theirs is always a cool feeling. Especially when those footprints are this visible. (See bonus picture)

Thursday, 25th of May
Waking up to a sunrise on the beach of Hormuz island. At 7 am it is already hot and humid as hell. Even the night was hot down in the South of Iran in the Persian Gulf. But after such a long time in cities it feels sooooo good to finally have a little bit of an adventure again. Daniel enhances my adventurous nature with his attitude. He’s got an even more severe case of “nofucksgivenitis” than me. I already know the next couple of weeks are going to be fun.
Friday 26th of May
I’m not sure what is more red. My face or the sand on Hormuz’ famous beach. Where the sand glitters in red. (See Bonusvideo) I tell Daniel that sometimes I wish I was able to wear dresses because they seem much more comfortable than T-shirts in a heat like that. And because he’s a the type of man we need more of for a good future he doesn’t make fun of me. He encourages me to just buy one and wear it. With confidence and without caring about what others think.
